Posted on Andrew OVerified An Epic Adventure of Culture, Nature...and Fun! You MUST hire Wild Compass Africa if you like adventure, and want to travel with an incredible human (and talented guide!) while experiencing Africa in a very unique way! This is the second time I've travelled around with Jaz (who owns Wild Compass Africa) and we had a blast in South Sudan. We got to camp for a few days while hanging out with some Mundari and Dinka people on their cattle camp.Jaz was unfortunately unable to join me in Ethiopia but he planned everything in advance and all went smoothly in that country too...I got to check out the Simien Mountains (the Roof of Africa!) and spend some quality time with the most chill gelada baboons. I also got to experience the beautiful city of Harar and so much in between. If you like an adventure, you have to hire Wild Compass Africa!! You won't regret it.Posted on Maps49849376017Verified Thanks to Jaz , we had a wonderfull time in Uganda Jaz was our safe driver, excellent guide and bird expert, translator, and friend during our 18-day trip in Uganda last February. We started in Entebbe, drove to Murchinson Falls NP for Nile exploration, we went to Kibale for chimpansee trekking and to Queen Elisabeth NP.We did 2 gorilla trekkings in Bwindi and finally went to Lake Mboro NP, before returning to Entebbe...We did also 2 night safari's with Jaz. We found in total 5 leopards and 2 tree-climbing lions during our trip, and a lot more mammals: elephants, kobs, giraffes, rhino's, hippo's, waterbuks... and many many birds. Jaz knows them all!He speaks English very well and is a safe driver.Posted on Charles MVerified WOW...from beginning to end! From the airport pick up to the airport drop off 6 days later all we can say about Abaho "Jaz" and Wild Compass Africa is that we had an incredible experience. Ja picked us up at the Kigali airport and transported us to our hotel (Hotel Des Mille Collines). Jaz available to us at all times with suggestions of things to do in Kigali. He helped us tour the Genocide Museum, a walking tour of downtown Kigali, etc. His English is very good, his driving is very safe, and we always felt like he was in control of the situation. Then Jaz drove us to the mountains for Gorilla Trekking. We drove to Kinigi and stayed at the Mountain View Gorilla Lodge. The next day Ja drove us to our Gorilla Trekking spot where he knew several of the guides. We also did the Golden Monkey trek on the second day.Back to Kigali where we stayed another day and night. He even arranged a city tour on the MotoTaxis which was unforgettable! We would definitely use Jaz again and might head to Uganda or Sudan the next time. You can't go wrong with Wild Compass Africa.Posted on Mirek SVerified An incredible adventure. Huge emotions. High physical and mental comfort. Experiences we have never had before because for this If you are looking for an experienced guide who really loves nature and is an excellent photographer, choose Jaz. If you care about the personal culture of the guide, choose Jaz from Nominous African Safaris. If you are looking for a guide who does not lie, does not push for "attractions", does not impose himself but is always there for you, choose Jaz.Posted on Kyle BVerified A Dream Trip Come True! Where do we begin?! Jaz had his work cut out for himself when he agreed to guide for us. We had at least 1 million questions before we even arrived in Uganda and a million more throughout the trip. Jaz patiently and kindly answered every single one of them, we learned so much about the animals, culture, and country. This immediately stood out to us as we messaged a few different guides and some were not nearly as forthcoming. Upon arrival it was clear that Jaz absolutely loves his job and was as excited as we were for the trip. We spent 12 days in the absolutely breathtaking country of Uganda. He had an excellent itinerary scheduled for us and even though we were particular about a few of the lodges he still obliged and was flexible. Nobody can guarantee that you will see every animal that you want, but Jaz worked so hard to make each experience and park unforgettable. If you like birding, Jaz has a wide knowledge of birds and their calls. We always felt incredibly safe with Jaz whether it was driving through Kampala or driving near a herd of elephants. We knew going on the trip that Jaz was an incredible photographer, but he is also an incredible teacher and photography coach. He was always trying to make sure we would get the best shot with good lighting. We are forever grateful for Jaz and making this trip. 12 days is a long time to spend with someone you have never met, but he felt like family right away and we were sad to part ways. We hope to return to go on safari and trekking again and if we are fortunate enough to do that, Jaz will be our first call. If you are thinking about booking a trip with Jaz, we couldnβt recommend him more!Posted on Barbara KVerified Great guides make every trip a better experience! This is my third trip to Africa, and the agenda I had in mind this time included a Safari in Tanzania and Gorilla Trekking in Uganda. I went by myself this time so needed to coordinate guides. The Safari was amazing. The second part involved the Gorilla Trek. I spent 6 days with a guide from Uganda, Abaho, who liked to be called Jaz! This man made my trip. I knew from the time he picked me up that weβd get along! He had a great personality, was very detailed, knowledgeable about wildlife and many other things, attentive to my needs and we talked incessantly about our lives and about his country. I learned a ton. He was very protective of me everywhere we went and I always felt safe. If you decide to go Gorilla Trekking, Abaho is the best! β€οΈPosted on A11travellerVerified Amazing Masai Mara Incredible endless landscape , heart touching, thousands and thousands of wildlife, cheetahs, lions, giraffes, birds,The magical mara river.
