Day 1: Fly to Kihihi Airstrip and drive to Bwindi Forest.
flying eases and shortens the long drive from Entebbe airport to Bwindi which takes about 9-10 hours on the road and only 1-2 hours by air. You are picked up by our driver guide from the Kihihi airstrip and driven to your lodge in Bwindi national park Depending on the time and weather, you have a number of options around and within Bwindi Forest, community visits, and nature walks for brief birding watching and to the waterfalls to straighten you from the long airplane fatigue. Day 2- Gorilla Tracking and Drive to Ishasha - home of tree-climbing lions
wake up early morning and have breakfast, it's a beautiful day for trekking to the mountain gorillas. better hiking shoes, enough drinking water, long pants, and shirts are required, a a snack is key as you are not so sure what time you will be back from the forest. it takes 2-8 hours and 1 good hour of viewing, after this great experience drive to the home of tree-climbing lions for evening relaxation and wait for the next adventure. Day 3- Game viewing and after lunch Boat Cruise
game drives in Ishasha start very early in the morning. having a chance to spot hyenas heading to their dens, leopards, and lions when lucky enough. The southern sector also offers variety of bird species and hundreds of buffaloes, elephants , Topis and much more. After game viewing, drive back to your camp and have yourself a delicious meal. You will therefore checkout and drive to the north of the park via the Maramagambo forest and Lake Edward suburbs. Once you check in to your lodge, relax and later on go for an after lunch or evening sundowner. This boat ride takes place on the Kazinga Channel, the biggest natural channel in the world, have a chance to encounter large schools of hippos, elephants of channel bank, birds, monitor lizards, giant hogs, buffaloes lying on the shores of the channel, cool breathe is such an awe feeling. Day 4: Kyambura Gorge Nature walk
The Kyambura Gorge is a famous and one of the most beautiful places at Queen Elizabeth National Park. In this mystical gorge, a small isolated population of chimpanzees survives. Drive for chimpanzee lookout after your breakfast and have a relaxed evening as you having a good time just right by the swimming pool waiting the sun to come down or you can go for an evening game drive to search for more wildlife such as, Lins, leopards, elephants, Uganda Kobs, birds, and much more. Day 5- Drive to Lake Mburo National Park for a night game drive
After exploring Queen Elizabeth's diversity, drive to another different savannah wonder area with a stronghold of zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, buffaloes, birds, pumba, and leopards which are pure nocturnal but on a lucky visible during the day. Before you check in to your beautiful lodge, conduct an afternoon short drive as it's a highlight of what is expected. later in the evening go for a 3-4 hour evening and look out for the nocturnals such as the leopards, hyenas, and much more. Day 6- Morning game walk and drive to Kampala / Entebbe airport
Explore more on foot as you get closer to these animals, learn about trees and shrubs, and feel the pure wild as you are led by a ranger guide, this takes 2-3 hours. After the walk drive to Entebbe airport or hotel via the equator as you will have a stopover for lunch shopping and photography and learning more about the 0 latitude and southern and northern hemispheres.
