Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Arrive in Entebbe, a charming town located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Your private guide will welcome you and transfer you to your nearby guesthouse, where you can relax and unwind after your journey. This will also give you room to walk around the town by yourself incase you arrive during day. Entebbe has quite unique history and also many activities like the shoebill tracking while on local boat for those who love birds and open adventures. Day 2: Rhino Tracking and Murchison Falls
Have annually breakfast and start your safari, drive through the busier Kampala city suburbs as you facing the rhino ranch. Track white rhinos in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a protected area dedicated to the conservation of these magnificent creatures. Get up close and personal with the rhinos, and learn about the conservation efforts in place to protect them. After lunch, head to Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda's most beautiful parks. The park is home to over 76 species of mammals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and hippos. Take a game drive through the park, and enjoy the stunning scenery and wildlife. Day 3: Game Drives and Boat Cruise
Spend the day exploring Murchison Falls National Park on a game drive and boat cruise. Take a morning game drive through the park, spotting, giraffes, elephants, oribis, buffaloes, pitas monkeys, lions, leopards, hyenas and much more. Later, take a boat cruise on the Nile River, which offers stunning views of the park's wildlife the nile crocodile, birds, hippos, and more wildlife along the river banks and scenery. Day 4: Kibale Forest National Park
After your morning breakfast, travel to Kibale Forest National Park, home to over 1,500 chimpanzees. The park is also home to over 300 bird species. Have stopovers along the way for lunch and photos since it's a beautiful drive wishing catchy landscapes. please Note that the drive takes about 6-7 hours which will be a fair drive with no rush . Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking
It's a day to witness and get rare eye contact with our closest cousins, have an early morning breakfast, and carry with you a lunch pack, enough drinking water, a walking stick, good hiking shoes, a rain jacket, a camera, fully charged phone and much more. You will have a general briefing by the ranger guide from headquarters of the park and later distributed into a particular group, enter the jungle, the activity usually takes, 2-5 hours depending on where the chimps are located. After the chimpanzee Experience you have an optional Bigodi swamp and community experience which will allow learn about the daily life of the local people living around the park. Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park | Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat cruise
Have your breakfast, and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most popular parks. The park is home to over 95 species of mammals, including lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. take an afternoon boat as you encounter several wildlife like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes on the channel banks, birds like the African Fish eagle, and much more. Kazinga channel is the biggest nature channel in the world connecting two lakes that’s George and Edward covering a length of about 40 km long and 8m deep, a great relaxation point. Day 7: Southern Queen Elizabeth
Explore the Kasenyi region of Queen Elizabeth National Park on a morning game drive. Spot lions, elephants, and hyenas, and enjoy the stunning scenery. Visit the famous Ishasha tree-climbing lions, a unique and fascinating sight. Meal Plan -Full board Accommodation: Enjojo Lodge
Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to over 400 mountain gorillas. The forest is also home to over 300 bird species, including the rare and endangered African green broadbill. Take a guided walk through the forest depending your arrival time, spotting monkeys, birds, and other wildlife. Meal Plan : Full board -Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
Day 9: Gorilla trekking | Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi
Have a beautiful day, and trek to the gorillas, after your early breakfast, drive to the briefing grounds with enough drinking about 1.5 liters, a snack, a rain jacket, hiking shoes, and a walking stick. You will be told dos and don’ts and later start your journey to the ultimate experience. This experience takes 2-8 hours depending on where the apes are located, I hour is recommended while viewing and leaving them to enjoy their privacy. Take enough videos, selfies, and photos, and have the dense forest treat as you listen to the jungle calls. Your ranger guide will lead to and from the apes and back to the starting points, hiring a potter is recommended for pulling and pushing, and lifting your bag packs this is also a way of supporting the community. You will be given tracking certificates after a successful tracking and later drive to lake Bunyonyi where you will have a relaxed evening just on the lake shores. Day 10: Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park | Evening Game Drive
Tour around the lake as you are being told about the history of some islands like the punishment and upside down island . The lake has 29 islands which might not be possible to visit all of them , you will have 1-2 hours on the local motorised boat before driving to Lake Mburo park for an evening drive. Lake Mburo park is known tone the sanctuary of zebras, elands, impalas, and also having a chance t o see giraffes, buffaloes and leopards and much more. Day 11: Morning Nature Walk | Transfer to Entebbe for departure
wake up early enough and go for a walk in the wild escorted by a ranger guide, this walk gives you a chance to get closer to the animals you were seeing the previous day while in your safari jeep. walk takes about 2-3 hours, get filled up with descent information for both flora and fauna, after that check out of your lodge and drive to Entebbe airport or a hotel of own choice via the equator point. have a stop at the equator Line for photos nd buying souvenirs and proceed to your next destination.
