Itinerary Details
Day1. Arrival in Juba-South Sudan
The driver guide will pick you up from the agreed point probably the airport and head to the booked accommodation facility. Have leisure at one of the hotel this day while preparing for the next day departure to encounter the Mundari tribe.
Day2. Transfer to Terekeka/Mundari town
Have breakfast at the restaurant or balcony of your room and then then transfer to Mundari community also called Terekeka village. Arrive and be welcomed by Mundari elders who will take you to the story tellings and lunch. Then in the evening, prepare your tents as you enjoy the sunset photos in the cattles. Dinner surved and then night camp fire till late.
Day3. Full-day community experience
This day will be about touring the village and learning about this unique culture. Notice that these local people have V-markings/scars on their face or body a practice that is not discouraged by the government of South Sudan and now it's dying out. Graze cattle, milking, and practicing garden work will be the main experience. Later on in the evening, be entertained with Mundari traditional music and dances. The traditional foods will be served during this day.
Day4. Head back to Juba
Spend a morning time in the Mundari camp preparing yourself to depart back to Juba the capital city of South Sudan. Later on, transfer and be dropped at the hotel in Juba.
Day5. City tour and departure flight
Have a city tour where historical places like religious centers, markets, museums, art galleries and more will be visited. Be dropped at the airport and board a departure flight.
