On this 5 day gorillas, chimpanzees,walking wildlife  safari you will start your journey from Entebbe, slope to the western corridor via Lake Mburo later to Bwindi home of, mountain gorillas. You will connect to Queen Elizabeth national park  for savannah specials like lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes and have a boat ride along the largest natural channel in the world, the Kazinga channel. You will have a chance to immerse yourself in the Valley of Apes Kyambura Gorge, the most spectacular place all adventurers would wish to be. Your accommodation will be midrange unless of a special request.

Itinerary Details

Day 1 Pick up | Transfer To Mburo | Evening Game Drive

You will be picked up from the airport or hotel and start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. Along the way have stopovers for refreshening and photos. You will drive through the busy highway connecting southern Uganda to central. Upon arrival to your destination, check-in and later on proceed for an evening game drive. The park Is rich in flora and fauna with great expectations of giraffes, buffaloes, lots of birds, topis, zebras, impalas, and much more. Immerse yourself in this spectacular smallest savannah park in Uganda for about 3-4 hours and exit for evening relaxation. Meals and accommodation: Rwakobo Rock

Day 2 Early Morning Milking Experience | Nature Walk in The Wild |Bwindi

Have an early breakfast and walk to the Ugandan local kraal, it's an early activity as the sun comes up. Learn how to milk the Ankole cattle and immerse yourself in these most loved ones. Cattle as you participate in the activities. There’s always great history and storytelling about cows and tasting fresh milk. After the milking checkout of the lodge, drive for a nature walk which will be led by a ranger guide. It’s a session of joy while in the wilderness, get closer to the giraffes, impalas, and zebras, and learn more biodiversity as you are feeling and enjoying the wilderness stanzas. Lake Mburo covers an area of 370 km2 known for its over 315 bird species, over 300 hippos, elands hundreds of zebras, impalas, reedbucks, leopards, 13 swamp-fringed lakes, and much more. After the walk drive to Bwindi via the mountainous southwestern Uganda which will make the end of the day. Meals and accommodation: Gorilla Mist Camp

Day 3 Gorilla Tracking | Transfer To Queen

At 331 km2 it’s the home of the world’s half mountain gorillas, whose encounter and consequent encounter is the most interesting and poignant wildlife encounter in Africa. Bwindi forest is the oldest biologically diverse rainforest with over 346 species of birds, 202 butterfly species, 120 mammal species, and 400 species of plants. It’s a blessed rainforest with the two red-flagged primates, the chimpanzee and the mountain gorilla. It’s the most exciting experience as you look into those brown eyes, the distant man’s cousin will eat, play, and groom as you are seeing it at a closer range which takes 1 good hour and 40 minutes -6 hours of forest experience. The experience is medium strenuous so we recommend fit bodies though all means to anyone wishing to reach them are always available. Long pants, shirts, good jungle shoes, musk, rain jackets, drinking water, and a packed lunch, are highly recommended while going for gorilla trekking. After the gorilla experience drive to Queen Elizabeth via the open grasslands of Ishasha and kigezi wildlife reserve for a better attachment to nature. Meals and accommodation: Elephant Hab Lodge

Day 4 Morning game drive | Afternoon boat cruise

Queen Elizabeth National Park is on the top list of the most popular tourist destinations in Uganda. The park's vistas include the Kazinga channel, a spectacular waterfront setting In the shadows of the jagged Rwenzori mountains. Ishasha plains of fig trees and home of tree climbing lions, the maramagambo forest, the dozens of craters carved dramatically into the rolling hills to vast Lake Edward. With its lush vegetation, you will search for lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, and over 600 bird species in the park with a chance of spotting over 100 species in 2 days. Cruise on the calm Kazinga channel as you get closer to the stone-like piles of hippos, crocodiles, elephants foraging along the channel, giant hogs, hyenas, warthogs, and much more. You will later come back to the lodge for evening relaxation and you call it a day after 4 hours of morning game drive and 2 hours of boat ride. Meals and accommodation: Elephant Hab Lodge

Day 5 Chimpanzee Trekking | Transfer To Entebbe

Kyambura Gorge is known to be the valley of apes with only one habituated chimpanzee community. The Kyambura Gorge is home to more wildlife such as hippos due to the permanent river, and sometimes elephants, birds, and giant hogs. The 3-hour gorge experience is more than a discovery of chimpanzees in their true home but rather a brain booster of the gorges ecosystem. After the chimpanzee experience drive to Entebbe via the equator for shopping and refreshing as it will be the beat of the safari. And this will mark the end of your 5 day gorillas chimpanzees walking wildlife safari.
