This 10 days Tanzania wildebeest migration classic safari will lead you to most parts of Tanzania, most popular and visited National Parks. Probably the safari will start and end in Arusha Tanzania for great experiences that will lead you to memorable moments. Explore different National Parks for different activities and attractions. Expect to meet most of the wild animals and if lucky enough spot all the big five during this safari.
As mentioned above, visit National parks like Tarangire National Park which is located in the Northern part of the country, and Serengeti National Park also located and found in the Northern area well known for its large herds of wildebeests and Zebras.
The safari will proceed and take you to the plains of Lake Manyara National Park and during the visit to all these protected areas, a lot of wild species will be spotted such as elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, leopards, civets, genets, Zebras, Buffalo, flamingos, rhinos, rare black rhinos and so many others which will make your safari more colourful and enjoyable.

Itinerary Details
Day 1. Arrival in Arusha Tanzania
Immediately as you arrive at the airport, you will be welcomed by your safari driver guide who Will brief you about the safari and then drive you to the lodge. Have a short city tour around Arusha city and gain a chance to visit the museum and reveal the historical background of the Country Tanzania. You can also visit the craft shop and buy some souvenirs. Later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2. Depart Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Have breakfast from the lodge early morning and prepare to check out heading to Tarangire National Park. Jump into your safari car and embark on your journey to check in with the booked lodge. As soon as you start entering the park you will be welcomed by several wild animals then after check in for lunch. Enjoy an evening game drive and spot as many animals as you can during the drive then later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3. Head to Lake Manyara NP
On day 3 of your safari arise early morning from your warm bed for breakfast thereafter embark on your journey and drive to Manyara National Park. The drive takes about 2 hours and 50 minutes directly from Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara. Arrive and check in with the lodge for lunch. After your delicious meal in the afternoon, head for the evening game drive in the plains of Lake Manyara National Park. Explore this protected area by viewing different wildlife like hippos, Impalas, and giraffes, beautiful sceneries such as hills and mountains, different bird species and many others.
Day 4. Transfer to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park is a protected area located in the Northern part of Tanzania. It is well known for its large herds of wildebeests and Zebras which migrate from south to Nort plains searching for new pasture. Therefore, have your delicious breakfast early morning then depart to Serengeti National Park.
Day 5-6. Discover Serengeti (game drives and hot air ballooning)
Wake up as early as possible for eyesight in the plains of Serengeti National Park as well as spot some of the predators/nocturnals before they go back in their covers. Such animals can include hippos, civets, genets and many others. Drive back to the lodge for a heavy breakfast then later head back for the afternoon session with your packed lunch. Spot as much wildlife as you can for example elephants, lions, leopards, Zebras, buffalo and wildebeests. Enjoy your picnic lunch as watch these wild animals feeding or rest then after the drive head back to the lodge as you grab a chance to spot some of the animals you might have missed during the day. Proceed and drive heading to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Hot air ballooning is another amazing activity that leads you to amazing and interesting creatures. During this experience, since you fly some good meters from the ground a lot of wildlife will be spotted such as wildebeests, elephants, big bird species beautiful hills and mountains and others. Take note that this experience can better be done during sunset when the wind is calm and stable compared to sunrise
Day 7. Transfer to Ngorongoro conservation
Wake up in the morning on day 7, have your breakfast accompanied by a cup of coffee or tea depending on your choice, sunbathe and rotate around the lodge exploring new and amazing creatures mostly flowers, butterflies, beautiful bird species, good views and others. After checking out with the lodge and driving head to the Ngorongoro crater conservation area. Upon your arrival, check in with the booked lodge and relax.
Day 8. Ngorongoro crater Drive
Have your breakfast early morning then later drive heading to Ngorongoro craters for the amazing adventure. During this game drive you have a high chances of spotting most of the animals and if lucky enough you will also spot all the big five animals. Spot animals like lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos, flamingos, rare black rhinos and many more. After such experience drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9. Head to Arusha National Park
Arise in the morning for breakfast then drive to Arusha National Park. It will take you only three hours and sixteen minutes to get to Arusha National Park. Check in with the booked lodge then set out for the game drive with your packed lunch. Enjoy your delicious picnic lunch and compete with animals feeding too. Continue with the drive and spot animals like wildebeests, lions, leopards, elephants and others during evening rush hours looking for dinner. Retreat to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10. Fly back home.
Day 10 probably marks the end of your 10-day safari to Tanzania therefore, after having your delicious breakfast jump into your safari car and drive back to Arusha Tanzania. Depending upon the flight time you can opt touring around Arusha town and also visit some of the craft shops and buy some souvenirs to take home for remembrance. Your safari driver guide will drop you off at the agreed location or the airport and fly back home.
